Uzbekistan visa types

Uzbekistan visa application form
  1. TOURIST - may be both group and individual ones. Uzbekistani tourist visas are normally single-entry/exit and are valid for the duration of the individual trip or a group tour (7, 15, 30 days). They also may be DOUBLE ENTRY, TRIPLE ENTRY, QUADRUPLE ENTRY and MULTIPLE-ENTRY, but cannot be extended. Maximum stay with Tourist visa to Uzbekistan is one month, except for US citizens for whom the multiple entry tourist visas may be valid up to 4 years. Uzbekistan tourist visa is recommended for shorter simple non-business trips. The issuance process is inclusive of Invitation, Voucher, Tourist Visa and Express return. The original Tourist Voucher from the National Company "UZBEK TOURISM" or an authorized travel agencies is required. The one is to be stamped and signed by an authorized person and must contain confirmation of hotel reservation and details of length of trip. (If staying with friends or relatives an invitation from them, confirmed by the local authorities, is required.) Tourist Vouchers and an invitation are not mandatory for citizens of Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, and US for the issuance of Uzbekistan tourist visa. Citizens of Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Spain and Switzerland are requested to present their travel itinerary only and can request issuance of 1 (one) month multiple entry Uzbekistan tourist visa. Processing time - 2 business days after application acceptance. Visa fee is depending on the country where the concrete Uzbekistani embassy / Uzbek consulate / Uzbekistan Consulate General (foreign embassy / consulate rendering consular support for Uzbekistan) is located. In all cases, additional "processing fee" will be collected from the applicant. Citizens of Japan pay the administrative fee only. Open Uzbekistan tourist visa form.
  2. BUSINESS - (SINGLE ENTRY / DOUBLE ENTRY / TRIPLE / QUADRUPLE / MULTI-ENTRY) from 1-month single entry up to 1-year multiple entry. Uzbekistani business visas may be valid for 6 months maximum in the first instance and are extendable by the Uzbekistani inviting organization upon presenting valid reasons thereto. Uzbekistani business visa is regarded a very convenient option for repeated trips or longer staying in Uzbekistan. This type of visa consumes a bit more time to process and is more expensive than a tourist visa to Uzbekistan. The mandatory invitation for processing one is to be submitted in form of a formal written request directly to Uzbekistani MFA at the address of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan: 9, Uzbekistan St., Tashkent, 700029, Republic of Uzbekistan. A confirmation of the invitation thereof (Uzbekistani MFA telex) received by an Uzbekistani Embassy from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan will be the reason of the visa's issuance. The business invitation from Uzbekistan is to give details of activities to be undertaken by the invited person and length of the person's stay in Uzbekistan. If a tourist voucher if attainable, that will provide a faster processing of Uzbekistani business visa. Fill up Uzbekistan business visa form.
  3. DIPLOMATIC - this kind of Uzbekistan visa is obtainable upon presenting one's diplomatic note, diplomatic passport and one color passport photo. Processing of a diplomatic visa doesn't entail a payment of the administrative fee.
  4. PRIVATE VISITOR'S - for private and guest visits to Uzbekistan an Invitation Letter from friends or relatives endorsed by the local authorities (i.e. the Immigration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan) is required.
  5. GROUP VISA - an Uzbekistani group tourist visa for one week, two weeks and one month — for group travelers not less than 10 persons in a group excluding children under age of 16. Also available for a period of more than 30 days.
  6. TRANSIT VISA - can be for up to 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours and double entry.
